Retailers and publishers have fought hard to work their way up in the ranking of Google’s search results and refine the search features of their own websites to help users once they arrive. Now, Google is taking a greater role in helping users search within particular sites. And some of the same retailers and publishers are not happy about it.

In March, the company introduced a search-within-search feature that lets users stay on Google to find pages on popular sites like those of TheWashington Post, Wikipedia, The New York Times, Wal-Mart and others. The search box appears when someone enters the name of certain web addresses or company names — say, “Best Buy” — rather than entering a request like “cell phones”.

I'ts been a while since I started making money online with my blogs but there's still one problem that hinders me to increase my adsense revenue. My property in Dubai and real estate in Dubai blogs are actually doing pretty well but not my cheap airsoft gun blog which doesn't show me my targeted ads and that takes away my potential visitors.

A member of SEO Philippines sent me a link this morning while I was at work because I was asking him about my problem and he sent me this article Let me share it with you and maybe it will work. I will also try it with my blogs so I can increase more my adsense revenue.

I have been busy lately on making money online using the monetization methods I've read. I am managing other blogs  as well aside from this seo dubai blog that I have. I already heard before that most bloggers earn money from their blogs but just recently I decided to start implementing them.

Google adsense for me I think is the best source of revenue for site although it’s certainly not the only source to generate income  on blogs. Donations, affiliate programs, text link ads, display advertisng, targeted advertising and selling products are some of the ways on how we can monetize our blogs.

But the first most important before you can make good money online is to build a huge amount of traffic to your blog. More visitors means more ad clicks, more product sales, more affiliate sales, more donations, more consulting leads, and more of whatever else that generates income.

Aside from the SEOcontest2008 that I know which started couple of weeks,  I found another SEO contest with a keyword phrase of "greatest real estate agent in the world". This contest was from  Eric Bramlett of  Real Estate Webmaster forum or REW as they call where realtors or agents and webmasters discuss real estate issues.

It seems that this year will be more busy for me compared to last year. Doing company work and also working on my new blog Dubai real estate blog and my airsoft blog. Aside from that me and my friend have joined the seo contest which was launched by the UK webmaster world.

The contest for the greatest real estate agent in the world started last Feb. 12 and ends on May 1st.  Who would not want to get a price of around $4080.00.

Search engine optimization techniques for Google and Yahoo are quite different. Many websites rank well in one search engine but not the other. This is the direct result of each search engine having its own unique ranking algorithm. For example, the Google algorithm predominantly values the anchor text of in-bound links. Yahoo places more emphasis on keyword density and meta tags.

The primary reason for the difference in ranking algorithms is that Google owns the patent on Page Rank (PR), named after Google's founder Larry Page. As a result of owning this patent, other search engines need to place more emphasis on different optimization factors including website URL, keyword density and so on.

For a while now webmasters have fretted over why all of the pages of their website are not indexed. As usual there doesn't seem to be any definite answer. But some things are definite, if not automatic, and some things seem like pretty darn good guesses. So, we scoured the forums, blogs, and Google's own guidelines for increasing the number of pages Google indexes, and came up with our (and the community's) best guesses.

The running consensus is that a webmaster shouldn't expect to get all of their pages crawled and indexed, but there are ways to increase the number.
