Google Launches Government Request Tool for User Data

Google launched a new Government Requests tool to give people information about the requests for user data or content removal they receive from government agencies around the world. On the map, you will see the number of request they received between July 1, 2009 and December 31, 2009 and they plan to update it every 6 months.

User are notified and are given a display messages by Google before content are remove in search results. See the FAQ for more information regarding Government Request.
